Alex Marjanovic

I am the Head of Visibility and Co-Founder of Acclaimedly, with more than 5 years of experience building and developing my own e-commerce brands and digital marketing expertise. I also create educational content around SEO, AEO and the ever evolving digital landscape. I post all this under the handle AlexTalksDigital. I originally started my professional career with an education in piloting. Once I had finished my MECIR and grade 3 instructor rating, Covid 19 had hit and the industry went into turmoil. With a rapidly decreasing job market and veteran pilots with far more flight time than me struggling to stay employed, I knew I had to look elsewhere. At the same time, e-commerce was getting more convenient and popular among consumers, so I set out to build my own e-commerce brand while working at a paint store. While building out my store, I taught myself all the tricks of the trade, including SEO, digital marketing, branding which allowed me to grow my store to the point I could work on it full time. After a few years in the ecom and digital marketing space, I decided to start making content on all the different things I've picked up over the years. I'm also deeply fascinated with SEO and now AEO, so I also publish my experiments and find what's actually working. I also started Search Insider, which is where I publish my full in-depth articles on SEO, AEO and all the changes happening in the digital space. This is why I started Acclaimedly. Along with my 2 other co-founders, we recognised that AI is becoming a major part in how businesses get discovered by consumers. Acclaimedly serves as a way for both humans and AI to paint a proper picture for any professional, business or enterprise. AI currently has to rely on multiple searches to build a picture of who you are. Acclaimedly consolidates all your information with verification so both humans and AI can understand who you are, what you do and your reputation all in one place. Outside of business, my main hobbies are gaming (both board and video), comedy, film and travelling.
